An extract from Mikhail Khodorkovsky's interview with the German TV Channel ARD, conducted by Ina Ruck. This is the first video interview with him in five years.

Khodorkovsky says, “We are accused of physically stealing 350 million tons of oil. It is not only impossible to prove but even impossible to imagine.” He went on to note that he discussed the figures with investigators and prosecutors, asking them to explain how it was possible to extract such a quantity of oil. “Obviously, [the prosecutors] were not able to even describe it. We call such an accusation absurd.”
