Those Guilty of Dismantling YUKOS Could Include Top Russian Officials

Commenting on the European Court of Human Rights' hearing on YUKOS v Russia, financial expert Andrei Sotnik believes a guilty verdict in the case for Russia could see leading Russian authorities found guilty, possibly alongside people outside Russia.
Piers Gardner, a lawyer representing YUKOS in the hearing, told the court that Russian authorities had placed a "grossly unfair" tax burden on YUKOS, adding that it was argued that YUKOS' exceptional treatment placed an unfair burden on the company.
