Rosneft CEO Sergei Bogdanchikov has ignored a summons from the Khamovnichesky Court to testify as a defense witness. In addition, he failed to provide a valid reason for not appearing in court - a violation for which the court can impose sanctions including fines.

Previous Rosneft witnesses called including Lyadin have called the court to let it know that they would not be able to appear.

Lawyers for the defense team confirmed that all indications are that Bogdanchikov's summons was received. Rosneft has refused to comment on Bogdanchikov's absence from court.
