Prominent Russian actress Lia Akhedzhakova commented on the hearings in the Khamovnichesky District Court, and questioned why prosecutor Valery Lakhtin is allowed to make fun of civilized people. She said that she is talking on behalf of ordinary people who make their own opinion about the trial.

Commenting on the trial, Akhedzhakova said: "There are two well educated strong people in the cell, two crisis managers, with great memory and good knowledge of the law. They do remain strong, which is very important... And this clown of the justice system makes fun of them."
