In a blog post for Radio Svoboda, Platon Lebedev comments on the absurdity of the prosecutors' accusations, especially their insistence that YUKOS' internal oil prices had to be as high as those in Rotterdam.

Lebedev sarcastically notes that if these rules had been applied, not only Russian people, but also the governmental bodies such as the Federal Security Services and the Internal Affairs Ministry, would not have been able to afford fuel for their cars.

He also thanks people for the New Year wishes.
