Khodorkovsky, Lebedev Invite Colleagues to Testify in Trial
Mikhail Khodorkovsky and Platon Lebedev published an open letter inviting former colleagues to come to Moscow to provide testimony in their trial.
Dear colleagues,
In the absurd trial where Platon Lebedev and I are accused of the theft of 350 million tons of oil, we have now come to the stage of presentation of evidence by the defense. Platon and I understand the possible apprehension of our former colleagues and will not seek to compel those of you whose testimony is not being used by the prosecution in its case against us. However, we shall be grateful to anybody who does find the time and the opportunity to come to court to help set the record straight. This will help us to defend ourselves and the good name of YUKOS in its entirety.
