Slon.ru has asked a number of experts on possible scenarios around the release of Khodorkovsky and Lebedev.

In particular, Genrikh Padva, Mikhail Khodorkovsky's first lawyer and Kirill Kabanov, the head of National Anticorruption Committee, believe the two defendants will be pardoned.

Political analyst Dmitry Badovsky believes that there is an equal chance of the businessmen being released in 2011 or given another 15 years sentence.

Finally, another political analyst Alexey Mukhin forecasts that there is a 70% chance of them being released in 2011.
