The prosecution's "out-of town witness", Ms. Olga Dmitriyeva, the current Finance Director at AO Tomskneft VNK, was called to give her testimony. Ms. Dmitriyeva joined Tomskneft in May 2001 as deputy-Finance Director and ascended to her current post in January 2002.

The defense resumed cross-examining Mr. Zubkov, discussing YUKOS' consolidated financial statements and their work with PwC.

As the trial resumed, Mr. Lebedev began cross-examining Mr. Zubkov. Khodorkovsky asked whether PwC found any information which suggested fraud or embezzlement. Mr. Zubkov testified that he could not remember anything specific that came to mind.

Today marked the one year anniversary from the start of preliminary hearings in Messrs. Khodorkovsky and Lebedev's case. To mark the occasion, Nezavisimaya Gazeta published Mr. Khodorkovsky's article about the "conveyor belt" that is the Russian judicial system. The prosecution called Aleksey Zubkov to the witness stand. Ms. Kovalihina questioned Mr. Zubkov, as Mr. Lakhtin was absent for the second day in a row.
Courtroom Report: March 2, 2010
The hearing resumed with Mr. Lebedev telling the court he would continue to go over some of the statements Mr. Anilionis made during the January 18, 2007 interrogation conducted by Mr. Karimov. Mr. Anilionis then told the court that he was too emotional to continue testifying and needed time to calm down. Judge Danilkin granted Mr. Anilionis's request.
