Courtroom Report: November 2, 2010
On the last day of the trial, the courtroom would have been packed to the rafters if it had rafters. After Mr. Klyuvgant and Mr. Schmidt presented the reply of the defense, Mr. Khodorkovsky made a stirring speech to the assembly – his last words. When he concluded the courtroom exploded in applause and chants of "Freedom!"
Courtroom Report: November 1, 2010
The trial resumed with Judge Danilkin offering prosecutor Lakhtin an opportunity to commence with the prosecution's reply to the defense's arguments. Mr. Khodorkovsky eventually took the floor, telling the court that despite the prosecutor's attempts to attribute to him statements about the political motivations behind the trial he wanted the court to remember that he never talked about it in the process and certainly did not accentuate it.

The trial resumed with Mr. Lebedev making a closing presentation accusing the prosecution of breaches of ethics and of committing crimes in the trial proceedings. Later Mr. Klyuvgant took the floor for his closing arguments.

The trial resumed today with the defense lawyers offering their closing arguments. Speaking first was Mr. Miroshnichenko, followed by Mr. Gruzd, Mr. Rivkin and Ms. Terehova.

Today's hearing began with Mr. Khodorkovsky taking the floor.
He addressed the unprofessional nature of the prosecution and reminded the court that not one witness testified that they witnessed embezzlement or laundering.
