When to attend?
The Court is usually in session 4 times a week, from 10:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, except bank holidays (typically, with one day-off during the week). Please call the Khodorkovsky & Lebedev Press Center to find out whether a session taking place on the day you would like to attend. The best time to attend the hearing is between 11:00 and 15:30.

Directions:
Head past the Kiyevskiy Vokzal (train station) and Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel towards a glass bridge. Once you cross it, take a left on 7th Rostovskiy Pereulok (the first thoroughfare you see). The courthouse is the third building on the left - just past the Turkish Embassy across the street.

What to expect upon arrival?
Visitors are required to present their passports in order to gain entry to the building and their hand luggage (handbags, etc.) may be searched.
After the documents are checked, visitors may proceed to room #7 (3rd Floor), where the trial sessions are taking place.
The seats in the audience are filled on a first-come-first serve basis.
Visitors are allowed to enter the court room during breaks (approx. every 2 hours) or before the start of the session.
We encourage you to inform the Khodorkovsky & Lebedev Press Center of your upcoming visit, in order to ensure that seats are reserved for you, and English-speaking assistance is available on the day.
What happens in the court room?
No photos are allowed in the courtroom, unless specifically permitted by the Judge -visitors may be asked to leave their cameras with an attendant downstairs.
Visitors will be asked to leave the courtroom and to descend half a flight of stairs when the defendants are being escorted in.
In the courtroom, the Defence is on the left side and the prosecutors (wearing military style officer uniforms) - on the right.
During the hearing all cell phones must be turned off and there's no talking.
If visitors come in with translators - they need to proceed to the court chambers (door on the far wall) and inform the court secretary of their presence.
