Semen Rozenberg

Semen Rozenberg graduated from Tomsk State University Law School in 1967 and has worked as a lawyer for over 41 years.

In 2008, he was awarded the Plevako Golden Medal and a medal for merits before the city of Chita. He was also awarded “For Fidelity to Lawyer’s Duty” in 2004. In 1991, Rozenberg was given the title “Distinguished Jurist of RSFSR”.

Over his career, Rozenberg has pled more than two thousand criminal and civil cases. The most memorable cases include the Yakovlev case (1971-72), the Trofimov case (1992-94) and the Perelmuter case (mid-1970s).

Prior to his work as a lawyer, Rozenberg received a degree from the Minsk Electrical Technical School of Communications and worked as a communications technician for a short time and served in the Army.

Rozenberg has been published in "The Soviet Justice" and other various local newspapers.
